On 25th February 2023, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering organized an Expert Talk on “Scope and opportunities after engineering” at DSP Laboratory. It witnessed an energetic and insightful talk by Ms.Dhanya.N, IT analyst, TCS Bangalore.

Engineering is a highly specialized field that prepares graduates to use science, maths, and technology to create solutions for real-world problems. However, engineering graduates are often faced with the challenge of navigating the job market and deciding on a career path that suits their interests and strengths. In this expert talk, she discussed the scope and opportunities available to engineering graduates after completing their degree. After completing their engineering degree, graduates have a range of opportunities available to them. She discussed some of the popular career paths like Research and Development, Entrepreneurship, teaching and Academia etc. Engineering graduates have a range of opportunities available to them, from working in R&D departments to starting their own companies. The scope of engineering is vast, with new technologies emerging every day, and the demand for engineering professionals is on the rise. As the world becomes more technologically advanced, engineers will continue to play a critical role in solving real-world problems and improving the quality of life for people around the globe.
