The Dept. of Petroleum Engineering conducted the Department function “ PEARL Association function-2020” in JCT College of Engineering & Technology on 07.02.2020(Friday) by 10.00 am at our JCTCETseminar hall. The function started with a prayer song. Ms. Amritha (III PE) welcomed the guest and lighting of kuthuvilaku was done by the chief guest. The session commenced by the Head of Department of PETROLEUM ENGINEERING by his welcome address about the dignitaries.

Our respected principal Dr.G.Ramesh presided over the function. In his presidential address, he shared the importance of Team work and Leadership quality in current scenario.

Our honorable Vice-principal Mr. Arul Karthik gave his valuable suggestions about Academics. Ms. Aishwarya (III PE) unveiled the profile of the chief guest.

The HOD of the Department Dr. S. Venkatesh Babu gave a brief lecture about PEARL (Petroleum Engineering Association for Research and Learning) Association and its coordinating committee.

He gave the valuable information on the strategies to be adopted under different circumstances of career in Petroleum Industries. He also shared his views about adoption of various subjects in Engineering and their importance in real time experience. He also narrated about the importance of learning different training courses for future of the students and further studies.

The vote of thanks was delivered by Mr. Bashid (IV PE). The function ended with the National Anthem.
