The students of JCT College of Engineering and Technology celebrated Pongal festival on 09th January 2014. Principal Dr. G. Ramesh presided over the function. Trustee Thiru. O.M. Manivelu, faculty members, admin staffs and students were presented during the celebration. The function started with a Prayer and the lighting of Lamp by the Dignitaries.

The programme was organized by the students of JCT. All the Students are gathered together to make the event a grand success. In the true spirit of Pongal, the students of JCT participated in decorating the place with pookkolam.

In this function the students performed traditional cultural events like rangoli, Uriyadi, Classical dances etc. The event was celebrated by all the students, the teaching and non-teaching staff of the college. Principal conveyed pongal wishes to all the staff and students.
