The Department of Civil Engineering at JCT College of Engineering and Technology organized a Science Fair on the 22nd and 24th of October, 2024. This engaging event aimed to promote scientific curiosity and innovation among students, with participation from both school and college students. School students participated virtually, while college students presented their projects in person at the college campus. The Science Fair began with an inspiring welcome speech by Dr. Juliet Gnanasundari, who emphasized the importance of engineering and science in shaping the future. She warmly welcomed the participants and encouraged them to explore creative solutions to real-world problems. Her speech motivated the students to view this platform as an opportunity to develop skills that contribute to society. Dr.S.Manoharan, Principal, who have given a wonderful speech about the current scenario of emerging technologies which is promoted from various young engineering brains, ie, Students.

Dr. V Murugesh, Convener of the Program delivered a speech about the abbreviation of Science and commented on the importance of science fair for Schools and College Students. Students from various institutions participated online, presenting their projects through digital platforms. Their exhibits included presentations and videos on topics related to Water and Energy Resource Conservation, Recycle, Organic Farming, Climate Change and Global Warming. College students showcased their projects in person at the college. The event concluded with a formal vote of thanks delivered by Mr. Arulganapathy, who expressed his sincere gratitude to all participants, judges, and the organizing team. He acknowledged the efforts of the school students who participated online and the college students who contributed with their offline projects.
