The event began with a serene and soulful prayer song, followed by the traditional lighting of the brass lamp. This symbolic act, performed by the dignitaries present, represented the dispelling of darkness and the beginning of a journey toward knowledge and enlightenment.
Prof. K. Malarvizhi, Head of the Department of Computer Science and Business Systems (CSBS), officially welcomed the gathering. In her address, she expressed her gratitude to the attendees and emphasized the importance of the event.
Following this, Mr. L.Vasanth L. delivered a detailed introduction to the Chief Guest, highlighting their remarkable achievements and contributions to the field, which set the stage for the main address. The event continued with the introduction of the office candidates, where their roles and responsibilities were presented to the audience, ensuring that everyone was acquainted with the individuals who would be taking up key positions.
Dr. S. Manoharan, Principal of JCT college of Engineering and Technology conveyed the Presidential Address, emphasizing the institution’s commitment to excellence and encouraging both students and faculty to strive for the highest standards in their work.
The highlight of the event was the Dr.T.Ramraj, Professor/CSE, Amritha School of Computing, Chief Guest’s addressed Prim's Algorithm is a greedy method used to find the minimum spanning tree in a weighted, undirected graph by starting with one vertex and adding the smallest connecting edge until all vertices are included. Their speech offered valuable guidance and industry insights that resonated with everyone present. The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks given by Prof.J.Arun, Assistant professor/CSBS expressing gratitude to all who contributed to the success of the day, and the National Anthem, which instilled a sense of unity and patriotism among the participants.
