The Department of Mechanical Engineering, JCT College of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore organized a Webinar entitled “INDUSTRY 4.0 ROBOTICS AND THE FUTURE OF AUTOMATION” on 12.10.2023 for imparting fundamental knowledge on Automation used in Industries. Dr.G.Mahesh, HOD/Mech delivered the welcome address and Mr.S.Settu, AP/Mech invited the Chief Guest. The resource person explained about the importance and significance of INDUSTRY 4.0 & Uses of Robotics in industries. He emphasized the importance of “Automation of industries and Additive manufacturing” in Mechanical Engineering. He also shared his knowledge of modern Industries. Totally, more than 65 students and 12 faculty members attended the programme. Mr.P.Sureshkumar, Assistant Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering proposed the vote of thanks.
