The Research and Development cell of JCT College of Engineering and Technology organized a special lecture on “PROBLEM SOLVING, INNOVATION AND IDEATION” on 28.11.2022 at 2.00 pm at Seminar Hall for all the 3rd and 4th year students.

The key speaker of the event was Mr. Sunil S Nair, Co-Founder, Magicmyna Pvt. Ltd, Coimbatore. The session started with the welcome address by our principal Dr.S.Manoharan and introduction to the Chief guest was given by Ms.Reddygari Chethana of II B.E ECE.

Our Chief Guest delivered his lecture on the topic “Problem Solving, Innovation and Ideation”. The primary goal of his lecture was to promote student’s knowledge on “how to form new ideas and solutions for the given problem?”. He demonstrated the ideation techniques for problem solving and different ways to boost our creativity during the ideation process. He also explained about “why Problem solving and Ideation is so Important for Research?”. He encouraged students to start a Start-up company and make their dream to come true. He gave some ideas for start-ups. Finally, he answered queries raised by the students and made the session as an interactive one.

Dr. Jethose V., Director-Training and Placement shared his ideas and views about start-ups. Around 180 students and 30 faculties were benefitted through this programme. The formal vote of thanks was delivered by Mrs.Thahseen Thahir AP/ECE.
