The first Teachers Day was celebrated in India 1962. This is the year when Sarvepalli Dr.Radhakrishnan serving as the second President of India.

To celebrate his esteemed position his followers suggested that his birthday is being celebrated as TEACHERS DAY. The Teachers Day celebration celebrated with great enthusiasm and Zeal at JCT College of Engineering and Technology, Pichanur. Thiru R.Durgashankar,Trustee and Secretary of JCT Institutions, Dr. G.Ramesh, Principal, JCT CET and our Administrative Officer Mr. A. Chandrahasan presided the Programme.

Chief Guest Dr.A.Clement King, Associate Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, King Khalid University, Saudi Arabia addressed the  faculty members on this day regarding their Research and Publication of faculty members in their domain.On behalf of Management a Memento with Greeting Card and sweets were distributed to all the Faculty members.
