The Tenth graduation day of JCT College of Engineering and Technology, Pichanur, Coimbatore conducted at the college auditorium from 09.30 am onwards on 20.01.24. After the academic procession, the programme started with the traditional Tamilthaivazhthu. Dr.Manoharan presided over thefunction and declared the Tenth graduation ceremony and also welcomed the gathering and delivered the Tenth graduation day report.

In the graduation day address, the Chief Guest Dr.N.V.SNarasimhasarma, Director IIIT Trichy, appreciated the management and staff for acquiring the national accreditations such as NAAC and NBA in a very short period even though the service rendered by the institution to the society is only 14 years since 2009. In The Department of Food technology Shirley .D has secured the first rank with Gold medal from the Anna University,Secondly Asray A of Petro chemical Engineering Department has secured the second rank with Gold medal, thirdly Snehavasudevannair Department of Food technology has secured the third rank with Gold medal, Arundathisabhu Department of Food technology has secured the sixth rank with Gold medal and added honour to the college. He also addressed that “To give real service, you must add something which cannot be bought or measured with money”. The buzz of the day is “Innovate to market need and doing the best at this moment puts you in the best place for the next moment”. Life is not a hundred meter run, it is a marathon and hence it is not the start but the stamina, consistency and motive which keep you on the courseof victory. It is a proud moment for the parents to witness their wards receiving the degree fromAnna University, one of the prestigious institutions in India. He encouraged the graduates toinvolve in nation building with their innovations in one way or the other. The Chief Guest then distributed the degree certificates to the Under Graduates and Post Graduates in this function. Totally 300 graduates were honored including Postgraduates with their degree certificates by the chief guest. Out of this, 4 students are rank holders and Gold Medalists of Anna University from Petrochemical Engineering and Food Technology Deptments.

Finally the Principal administered the pledge to the students. The programme ended with the National Anthem.
