TWO DAY NATIONAL LEVEL TECHNICAL FEST – HYCA MEET’18 ORGANIZED BY DEPARTMENT PETROLEUM ENGINEERING ON 1ST & 2ND OF MARCH 2018

The HYCA MEET 2018 was conducted successfully at JCT College of Engineering And Technology seminar hall on 1stand 2nd of March 2018. The inauguration ceremony started on 1st March 2018 at 10.00 am which was facilitated by chief guest Dr.Santhanakumar, Managing Director, IPCS, Chennai, as well as other industrial people like Mr.Balaji Chennakrishnan, Managing Director, Telesto Energy and Mr.Shrinidhi Shetty, Pricipal Reservoir Engineer, Telesto Energy, the presidential address was given by Dr.G.Ramesh, Principal JCT College of Engineering and Technology.

The HYCA meet 2018 witnessed a mass participation from petroleum and chemical engineering students all over from India. The guest lecture was provided on the topic CURRENT EMPLOYMENT SCENARIO IN OIL AND GAS. Other industry related topics were discussed by various guests.

The afternoon session completely focused on the technical paper presentations which found to have a very large number of participants.

DAY 2 (02.03.2018)

The day 2 sessions starts with the technical event named CRUDE BID while parallel sessions were carried out for TECHNICAL QUIZ. These events also got a very impressive participation from the all over petroleum colleges. The afternoon session of day 2 consists of fun events like dumb charades, gully cricket, treasure hunt etc. which got a very healthy participation. The valedictory and prize distribution was also carried out on the same day at the civil seminar hall.
