The Department of Mechanical Engineering, JCT College of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore organized a webinar entitled “Geometric dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and 5s concept” on 04.03.2022 for imparting fundamental knowledge on Geometric dimensioning and Tolerancing with 5s concept. Mr.D.Sivaram Prasad B.E; Senior Quality Engineer, Chain Tools & products Pvt.Ltd. Head of the Department/ Mechanical Engineering welcomed the gathering. Dr.S.Manoharan, Principal, JCT College of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore, gave the presidential address.

The resource person provided a Geometric dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and 5s concept. He emphasised the importance of Geometric dimensioning and Tolerancing. Totally, 30 students and 20 faculty members from various colleges attended the programme. Mr.D.Ananda kumar, Assistant Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering proposed the vote of thanks.
