The Women Empowerment Cell of JCT College of Engineering & Technology celebrated Women’s Day 2021 on 08.03.2021 by 12.00 pm through Google meet link.

Beulah Christy (IV Year Food Technology) welcomed the chief guest and the participants. About 134 participants participated in this function including both female faculties and students and the Introduction of chief guest was given by Celin Shirley (III Year Food Technology)

The Chief Guest of the function was Dr.PRISCILLA JOYS.N MDS., SENIOR LECTURER, DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH DENTISTRY, SRI RAMAKRISHNA DENTAL COLLEGE AND HOSPITAL; Coimbatore .She gave the valuable information on "THE IMPORTANCE OF WOMEN'S ORAL HEALTH" during COVID. The Chief Guest in her address shared about that women are natural nurturers to take care of people, she also insisted that oral health is the link to overall health, spoke about the 10 commandments everyone must follow in order maintain oral health and asked the webinar participants to pass on the awareness to others. At the end of speech students had an interaction with the chief guest about the session and an online feedback link was given to participants.
