WORKSHOP ON QUALITY RESEARCH AND FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES ORGANIZED BY JCT COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY ON 10.02.2018

The Industrial Institute Partnership Cell of JCT College of Engineering and Technology organized a one day work shop on the topic “QUALITY RESEARCH & FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES”. Dr. S K Patnaik, Professor of EEE Department, Anna University, Chennai conducted the workshop.

Dr. G. Ramesh (Principal) welcomed the Chief Guest and the gathering. The Secretary Shri.R.Durgashankar felicitated the chief guest with a memento. Dr. V J Arul karthick, Prof and Head of Electronics and Communication Engineering Department introduced the Chief Guest.

Dr. S K Patnaik enlightens the students with an interacting session in Morning. He spoke about the qualities of engineers and how to develop the skills needed for the corporate world. Also, he gave suggestions on attitude and personality development.

The afternoon session was given to the HODs and Staff Members of all departments. The session was about the quality of research papers and budget. He gave hints on how to write a quality research paper, steps in applying for research funding. Also he explained the ways to publish the papers in reputed journals. He explained about various UGC and AICTE funding schemes available for research, to conduct faculty development program and career advancement program. And he briefed the budget related details. He also spoke about teaching learning process and teaching methodologies. Dr.G.Ramesh (Principal) thanked the resource person and the faculty member participants.
