17.02.2019-ON-CAMPUS DRIVE – TANFAC INDUSTRIES LTD., CUDDALORE

The Department of Training and Placement organized an “On-Campus Drive” at JCT campus on 15.02.2019. TANFAC INDUSTRIES LTD., Cuddalore hosted the campus drive for the final year Diploma and Engineering of PCE, ECE, EEE and MECH departments. Totally 40 students were scrutinized based on their eligibility and were invited for this drive.

Tanfac Industries Limited is a joint venture company promoted by the Aditya Birla Group and the Tamil Nadu Industrial Development Corporation (TIDCO). Incorporated in 1972, it is one of India’s largest suppliers of fluorine chemicals with the facility spread over 60 acres in the chemical complex of SIPCOT at Cuddalore near Pondicherry. Tanfac manufactures chemicals such as aluminium fluoride and anhydrous hydrogen fluoride with a generation capacity of 15,600tpa each. Tanfac is engaged in the manufacture of Anhydrous Hydrofluoric acid, Aluminium Fluoride, Potassium Fluoride, Potassium Bifluoride, IsoButyl Acetophenone, Boron Trifluoride Complexes, Sulphuric Acid and Oleum. Calcium Sulphate (Gypsum) is a co-product.

Dr. R. Perumal welcomed the HR team and the gathering. Dr. R. Manoharan (Principal- JCTPC), Prof.V.Jethose (Head – Training and Placement) and Mr.Nethaji Kumar D, Placement Officer felicitated the HR Team. HR, who clearly explained about the company profile, Interview rounds, Job location and other aspects of the job. After face to face interview, of them got short listed. The Management and Principal thanked the recruitment team and congratulated the selected candidates.
