05.03.2018-ON-CAMPUS DRIVE – WINDCARE INDIA PVT LTD, CHENNAI

The Department of Training and Placement organized an “On-Campus Drive” at JCT campus on 05.03.2018. WIND CARE INDIA PVT LTD, Gudimangalam hosted the campus drive for final year engineering students of Electrical & Mechanical Engineering and polytechnic students of Electrical & Mechanical students. Totally 98 students were scrutinized based on their eligibility and were invited for this campus drive.

Windcare India Pvt Ltd – WINDCARE INDIA Private Limited which was established in the year 2001 is now a reputed name in the Indian wind energy sector and emerging as a global ISP. Wind care is stimulated to develop concepts which cater to an ever-increasing demand for innovation in the sector. As a result of this, our innovative “without crane technology” was developed – a technology which is used for dismantling and re-erection of wind turbine components without the use of heavy duty cranes. Services offered for the following using windcare technology – Gearbox, Generator, Rotor, Single blade, unbalanced rotor, transformer erection. In 2010, they have started the project activities in SriLanka and over the year, it has expanded to Thailand, Philippines and Mauritius. Apart from these, we have associations, ventures and knowledge partners in countries like china, Germany, Denmark & Spain.

Dr. G. Ramesh (Principal) welcomed the HR team and the gathering. Prof.V.Jethose (Head – Training and Placement) delivered the key note address and explained the selection process. Mr. D. Nethaji Kumar, Placement Officer, felicitated the HR.

The HR Manager from Windcare India Pvt Ltd for recruiting briefly explained about the company profile, Nature of work, Work locations and different aspects of the job.

Totally 98 students participated in this drive. After two levels of selection process 25 students were selected, out of which 15 students from diploma and 10 students from engineering. The Management and the principal congratulated the selected candidates and thanked the recruitment team.
