National Level Technical Event - JAKRUTHI 2023

JCT College of Engineering and Technology organized the JAKRUTHI-2023 "National Level Technical Event for Polytechnic Students" on March 15 - March 17, 2023.

EVENTS RULES & REGULATIONS

REGISTRATION FEE DETAILS
  • For Technical Event Registration Fee Rs.100/- Per Head
  • For Technical and Non-Technical Event Registration Fee Rs.150/- Per Head
  • Sports Event-Volleyball- Rs.500/- Per Team
PAPER PRESENTATION
  • Team members must not exceed two
  • Presentation should not exceed 15 minutes including queries.
  • Selected Candidates Should Submit Soft & Hard copies of Power Point Presentation
  • A4 size. 10 pages maximum (Font: Times new roman, Size:12)
  • Judge’s decision would be final.
MODEL MAKING
  • Maximum 2 participants per team.
  • A non working model along with self explanatory poster should be presented at the event
  • The model should be related to department.
  • Top Three team will be awarded with prize and merit certificate.
  • Judge’s decision would be final.
CAD CARVING
  • Maximum 1 participant per team
  • PDF drawing will be given at the time of competition.
  • Points are noted for drafting, detailing, labeling and colouring
  • The final result will be judged on the basis of completeness and optimum time.
  • Top Three team will be awarded with prize and merit certificate
CIVILIC BRAINS
  • A Team of 2 students is allowed.
  • First Round will be a Preliminary Round containing 15 multiple Technical Questions. Duration-15 min.
  • Only Top 5 teams will be selected for the final round which contains oral questions.
  • Judge decision will be the Final.
MR.MOBIZ
  • Team members must not exceed four
  • Duration of the Game – 30 minutes.
  • Judge decision will be the Final
  • Participants will be blindfolded during the competition.
  • Products are provided by the organization.
  • Judging criteria based on number of identification.
SALAD MAKING
  • Practical up-to-date preparation and presentation is expected to be executed by the participant on the duration of the competition.
  • All ingredients/materials to be used should be edible.
  • Use of ready-made dressings or ingredients is not allowed.
  • Pre-prepared salad is not considered for Judging.
  • Cooking tools, utensils and/or equipment will be provided by the organizers but the participant is also encouraged to bring his/her personal specialized tools, utensils and/or equipment.
  • Participants will only be given an hour to prepare the dish.
  • Judges decision will be the final.
ONSPOT CARVING
  • This event is open to all contestants. No professional experience is required.
  • The contestant will have one hour to complete the piece for judging.
  • All pieces are to be made of entirely edible food. No plastic supports in frames.
  • Added colors are acceptable.
  • Extra emphasis will be placed on the use of the natural shapes and colours of the Fruit/vegetables and how they are used to support and enhance each other.
  • All tools including hand tools like chisels, knives, saws, drills, angle cutters, shaped Cutters, power drimmels, other power tools like squares, levels are acceptable & are requested to bring for the competition.
  • Participants should not take the help of others to complete the task.
  • Participants should report 15 minutes prior to the start of the event.
TASTE IDENTIFYING
  • Participants will be provided with identical food products with different brands.
  • Participants need to taste the food product and identify the brand name.
  • Only Individual participation is allowed.
  • Participants will be blindfolded during the competition.
  • Products are provided by the organization.
  • Judging criteria based on number of identification.
FALSE FINDING (ADULTERATION)
  • A team of 4 students is allowed
  • Food products will be provided for identifying the adultered compound.
  • Each team will be given time of 5 minutes for each product.
  • Judge decision will be the Final.
SLOGAN QUIZ
  • A team of 3 students is allowed
  • The medium of the questions will be only English.
  • There will be a total of 3 screening rounds.
  • Only selected participants can play the upcoming rounds.
  • On the average score derives from all the rounds, winners will be declared.
  • There will be certain time span for each round.
  • Judge decision will be the Final.
POSTER DESIGN
  • Maximum 1 participant
  • You can download the pictures from internet as per your need.
  • Copy others design are strictly prohibited
  • Judge decision will be the Final.
  • Top Three will be awarded with prize and merit certificate
CODE DEBUGGING
  • Maximum 1 participant per team.
  • Everyone should apply know code and comments to justify the code
  • Copying code from Online will be directly eliminated from contest
  • Top Three will be awarded with prize and merit certificate
TECH QUIZ
  • A Team of 2 students is allowed. Question will be shown on screen and have to choose answers by mobile or system
  • Individual Play, choose answers as soon as possible
  • Based on correct answer and fast choosing Mark with be given.
  • Judge decision will be the Final.
PROJECT CONTEST
  • Team members must not exceed two.
  • Presentation should not exceed 15 minutes including queries
  • Selected Candidates Should Submit Soft & Hard copies of Power Point Presentation
  • Judge decision will be the Final.
UI CREATION
  • Team members must not exceed two.
  • Duration of the Game – 30 minutes.
  • Use any convenient tools.
  • Judge decision will be the Final
POSTER PRESENTATION
  • The topic of the poster and theme should be clearly mentioned at the top margin of the poster
  • Team members should not exceed two
  • Presentation should not exceed 15 minutes including queries
ONE MINUTE TALK ON TECHNICAL TOPIC
  • Your message should be simple and clear
  • Speak with appropriate loudness and speed
  • Judge decision will be the Final
PROJECT EXPO
  • Each team may consist of maximum 3 members
  • The PPT should contain a simple description about their project.
  • The project model should be in a good working condition and the students must bring their necessary accessories. Power supply will be provided
  • Judges decision will be the final
CAD MODELLING
  • Three hours will be allotted for the selected candidate in order to complete their designs.
  • ROUND 1: Selection round for 15 minutes (20 objective type questions)
  • ROUND 2: Design a given 2D model in to 3D model by using standard modeling software’s like AUTOCAD or Solid Works.
  • Model will be given at the time of competition.
  • The final result will be judged on the basis of completeness and optimum time.
  • Winners will be awarded with handsome prize and merit certificate
SCIENTIFIC QUIZ
  • A team shall consist of maximum of 2 persons
  • The participants shall not be allowed to use mobile or other electronic instruments during the event
  • The questions shall be in the form of multiple choice, True / False statement, Specific-answer question etc
  • Technical and General rounds are present in the quiz total number of rounds will be intimated at the time of event
  • Each question carries 10 marks
  • The question should be answered within 10 seconds
  • If the question is answered wrong there will be negative marks
  • Judge decision will be the Final
TREASURE HUNT
  • Team of 4 members.
  • Treasures and clues will be hidden all over college.
  • Teams must stay together during the Treasure Hunt and are encouraged to work together to solve the clues and retrieve the coins from each location.
  • Judge decision will be the Final
Mr. MECHANIC
  • Participant should not use any electronic accessories inside a venue hall
  • Assembling and disassembling of parts will be given as a task to complete
  • Shorter time to complete the task will be treated as winner
  • The decision of the jury shall be final and binding
PROJECT EXPO
  • Maximum number of participants in a Team is 4.
  • The teams will get 15 minutes to show their projects and followed by question-and-answer session.
  • The decision of judges will be final.
ELECTRICROSS
  • A crossword puzzle consists of a grid, with each box in the grid designated to one letter. The clues are numbered from 1 across and 1 down, to signify which direction the word goes.
  • When completing a crossword puzzle, the goal is to solve every clue and enter every letter and word on the grid.
  • Team of two members each.
  • The decision of judges will be final
CIRCUITRIX
  • Team of two members each.
  • The teams will get 15 minutes to identify the fault in the circuits.
  • The winners will be announced based on their performance.
TECHNICAL QUIZ
  • Team of two members each.
  • The teams will get 10 minutes to answer the questions asked from the fundamentals.
  • Six teams qualify for the finals and winners will be declared based on the highest score.
CODE DEBUGGING
  • Individual participants.
  • Everyone should apply know code and comments to justify the code. (Codes based on MPMC)
  • Copying code from Online will be directly eliminated from contest.
  • Top Three will be awarded with prize and merit certificate.
