The Department of Automobile Engineering and Mechanical Engineering jointly organized a "ROAD SAFETY AWARENESS WEEK PROGRAM" on February 23rd, 2022 to make the public to understand about the importance of road safety and injuries due to road accidents.

The Principal, Dr. S. Manoharan, spoke with the students about road safety rules and regulations at the beginning of the program and the event is carried outside of the college campus.

Mr. J. Saravanan, Circle Sub Inspector of Police, K G Chavadi Police Station, flagged off the programme from K G Chavadi bus stop. The Ralley gone through Ettimadai bus stop, Walayar Dam Road, and Veerappanur to give awareness about road safety to general public.

Mr.A.Chinnarajan, Special Asst.Sub Inspector, and Mr.A.Satheesh, Head Constable, participated in the awareness campaign. During the program, the police officials conveyed the message of obeying traffic rules and wearing helmets to ensure safety measures while driving.

During the program, the students were distributing pamphlets and chanting slogans. The students spread awareness about road safety and participated actively in the event.

Dr.G.Rajivsureshkumar Vice Principal, Dr.K.Geetha Dean Academics, and faculty and student members from Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, NSS, and YRC volunteers took part in the programme.
