The Department of Mechanical Engineering, JCT College of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore organized a Seminar on “World Intellectual Property Day” 26.04.2023 for imparting fundamental knowledge of Intellectual Property Rights and its importance. Dr.S.Manoharan, Principal delivered the welcome address and Dr.I.J.Isaac Premkumar, ASP/Mech introduced the chief guest. The resource person explained about how to file and Publish the patent. He emphasized the importance of Inventions, literary, create works, designs, symbols, names and picture utilized in business related to Intellectual Property Rights. Totally, more than 60 students and faculty members attended the programme. Prof. M.Prabhu, Assistant Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering proposed the vote of thanks.
