The Department of Civil Engineering hosted a webinar on "Scope of Civil Engineers for BIM" on October 10, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. The webinar commenced with a welcoming address by Hari G S, Assistant Professor, who highlighted the importance of the future prospects of civil engineering in Building Information Modelling (BIM). Assistant Professor M Sadhasivam. delivered the Introduction about the Chief Guest and the importance of the webinar. With the support of our Principal Dr. S Manoharan and HoD Dr. V Murugesh the Resource Person, Ajanya Ashok, a renowned expert in various softwares like BIM, 3DS Max etc, delivered a keynote presentation focusing on the usage of softwares current Civil Engineering Scenario.. The session is about various skill requirements for our Young Civil engineers and for the current job openings in India. She also explained the importance of higher education and the role of Civil Engineers in society. The webinar concluded with a vote of thanks by Reshma P D Assistant Professor.
