The Department of Civil Engineering conducted an Alumni talk on "Career Opportunities for Civil Engineers" on November 03rd , 2023, at 11 a.m. The talk commenced with a welcoming address by Reshma P D, Assistant Professor , who highlighted the importance of the future prospects of civil engineering career. D Jagedeswari Assistant Professor delivered the Introduction about the Chief Guest and the importance of the seminar. With the support of Dr. S Manoharan Principal and Dr. V Murugesh HoD/Civil the Alumni P T Ashiq, a renowned expert in site planning and execution under Central PWD Projects, delivered a keynote presentation focusing on the opportunities for young engineers to get successful in the field. The session is about various skill requirements for our civil engineers and to know about the job openings in India. He also explained the importance of higher education and the role of Civil Engineers in society. The seminar concluded with a vote of thanks by D Arul Ganapathy Assistant Professor.
