The Department of Computer science and Engineering of JCT College of Engineering and Technology organized its association inaugural function on 30th July 2013 which was inaugurated by the Chief Guest Shri.M.Ponnusamy Consultant,HCL Technologies.

Dr. R. Saravanan Principal, Shri O.M.Manivelu trustee of JCT CET and Prof G.Rajiv suresh kumar,HOD of Computer science and Engineering were present on the Dais. The function started with a Prayer and the lighting of Lamp by the Dignitaries on the Dais. Prof G.Rajiv suresh kumar,HOD of Computer science and Engineering welcomed the gathering.

Shri.M.Ponnusamy Consultant,HCL Technologies,in his address he asked the students to concentrate on enriching their employability skills,interpersonal skills,team work and leadership.He informed due to international ressession oppurtunities for employement is very competitive.However there are lot of emerging domains are available for employement to the students who update their softskills to meet the competition.

In his Presidential address Dr. R. Saravanan , Principal of JCT CET advised the students to concentrate on other activities by participating in seminar,symposia,guest lecture and workshop conducted by the association and also participate events conducted at other institutions.They can prepare technical papers by using the e-resources and journals available in the library and present their papers at seminars ,symposia conducted by other insitutions.Learning is neccssary to succeed in life.The students must attened the course with a mind to achieve learning from the studies rather than obtaining mere degree certificate.

The Programme ended with the Vote of thanks proposed by Mr. S.Safeer ali, Secretary of the Association.
