The Association Inauguration of ECE department at JCT College of Engineering and Technology was celebrated on 7th August 2013. The Chief Guest of the function was Mr. Aravind Govindaraj, Divisional Head, UTL Technologies Limited, Bangalore. The function started with the Prayer song and the lighting of the Traditional lamp. The Principal Dr.R.Saravanan in his address stressed on goals and decisions for the future of the students. He insisted on deciding and proceeding before setting the goal. He proposed an Algorithm for achievement and advised the students to make use of the association to benefit themselves.

The Chairman Mr.S.A.Subramanian highlighted the uses of value added programmes to enhance job opportunities. The Chief Guest threw light on the opportunities existing in the field of ECE. He stressed that company skills needed technical skills and he advised the students to identify their strengths to become achievers. He also explained about Energy trends and the latest Communication techniques. The students were highly benefited by his informative speech.
