The Department of Civil Engineering of JCT College of Engineering and Technology hosted a highly successful Alumni Meet on 20th January 2024, bringing together former students, faculty members, and current students for a day of networking, knowledge exchange, and reminiscence. The event aimed to strengthen the ties between the department and its alumni, providing a platform for sharing experiences, discussing industry trends, and celebrating the achievements of both the department and its graduates.. The meet commenced in our Civil Seminar Hall with a welcoming address by Ms. R Jagadeswari Assistant Professor/ Civil who welcomed all the department faculties and the Alumni’s. With the support of Dr. S Manoharan Principal and Dr. V Murugesh (Alumni association Head), the Alumnus spoken about their experiences with the outside world and recent trends. The Department of Civil Engineering Alumni Meet was a resounding success, fostering a sense of community and collaboration among past and present members of the department. The event provided a platform for alumni to share their expertise, inspire the current generation, and contribute to the ongoing success of the department. The organizing committee extends heartfelt thanks to all alumni, faculty, and students who contributed to the success of this memorable event, and it is anticipated that this Alumni Meet will serve as a foundation for continued engagement and collaboration in the future.
