The association of royal civil inaugurated the association function of “AVISHKAR ’14” on 24th July 2014. Er.S.SHIVALINGAM, ASSISTANT EXECUTIVE ENGINEER, PWD, was the Chief Guests for this Inaugural function.

The Principal Dr.G.RAMESH, Trustee Er.O.M.MANIVELU, Er.S.SHIVALINGAM, and Prof. Kumar HOD of Civil Engineering were present on the Dais. The function began with a Prayer and the lighting of Lamp by the Dignitaries. Our Prof.A.Kumar welcomed the gathering. Miss.Arsha.k.suresh, introduced the office bearers of the Association to the audience and Miss.V.Jeyashree enumerated the forthcoming events for the academic year 2014-15.

The Presidential address was delivered by the Principal Dr. G.Ramesh. He advised the students to make use of all the facilities available. He pointed out that, apart from academics which is mandatory, students have to focus on Association activities also.

The Chief Guest Er.S.Shivalingam congratulated the students for choosing the civil Engineering course and also for inaugurating this association function. He requested the students to make use of this Association as a platform for learning. He also gave many useful tips to become a successful Entrepreneur. He stressed on Time management, Quality of work and involvement. He briefed the students about the several categories of job opportunities available to Civil Engineers.
