The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, JCT College of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore organized a programme entitled "Computer Science and Engineering Department Association Inauguration" on 30.08.2024 at 10.30 a.m. at the JCTCET Seminar Hall.

The inauguration started with Thamizthai vazhthu. Dr.S.Zulaikha Beevi, Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, welcomed the gathering. Dr.S.Manoharan, Principal, JCT College of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore, gave the presidential address. Dr.Sakthi Vinayagam, Associate Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, introduced the office bearers for the Association. Mrs.Leena, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, presided over the OATH Taking of the association. Mrs. Sandhya S, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, explained the planned activities of the department in the Academic Year 2024–2025.

Mr. Sabarinathan Muthu, Founder and CEO of Gateway Software Solutins Pv. Ltd, was the chief guest. Mr. Sabarinathan Muthu gave a talk on the vital role of Computer Science Engineers in various areas of industries, the job opportunities, and the importance of core branches. He encouraged and motivated the students to participate in more research-oriented projects. Overall, 200 students and 15 faculty members attended the programme.

Mr. Tishva of III year Computer Science and Engineering, delivered the vote of thanks. The function ended with the National Anthem.
