On 22nd February 2023, Department of Petrochemical Engineering organized the event an Expert Talk on “Fire and Safety in Chemical Industries” in JCTCET Seminar hall. Event started with Tamil Thai Vazhthu. Welcome address was given by Prof. K Kaviyarasan/Petrochemical Engineering. The chemical hazard prevention and the importance of fire extinguishers were addressed by Dr S Manoharan Principal - JCT college of Engineering and Technology. Chief Guest Introduction was given by Ms Subhabharathi IV-B Year/Petrochemical Engineering. A lecture on “Fire and Safety in Chemical Industries” was given by the chief guest Mr P Sivasuryan., Safety Supervisor, PSG Hospital. Finally Vote of Thanks was given by Ms Subhabharathi IV-B Year / Petrochemical Engineering. Event ended with National Anthem.
