“Energy Conservation Day” was celebrated by the Department of Petrochemical Engineering at JCT College of Engineering and Technology, Pichanur, Coimbatore on 14th December 2022. The program started with the welcome address given by J Praveenkumar Assistant Professor, Petrochemical Engineering. Event Coordinators, Faculties, participants from various departments and Heads of Petrochemical, Petroleum, Food Technology and Biotechnology & Biochemical Engineering were present. Four events were conducted. Firstly Project display followed by Poster presentation, Essay competition and Oration competition were conducted.

Totally 35 students were participated in the event. first event was Project Display started at 10.40 a.m. followed by Poster presentation, Essay competition and Oration competition. Towards the continuation of the event, Principal and selection committee visited and gave valuable suggestions on Energy conservation and also appreciated and motivated all the students and faculties. Prizes were distributed to the winners and participants. Finally the events successfully ended with vote of thanks given by Dr S Kavitha.,Head of the Department, Department of Petrochemical Engineering.
