TOPIC : Expert Lecture on “Computer Aided Design and Manufacturing”

Er.Abdhul, Engineer,CAD Solutions Coimbatore was invited to deliver a lecture on “Computer Aided Design and Manufacturing” for the II year Mechanical Engineering students. Prof.D.Joslin Vijaya welcomed the resource person and students.

Mr.Abdhul started with providing an insight into the various design softwares and manufacturing systems. He elaborated the surface modelling and solid modelling.

The students were also exposed to the modern manufacturing processes. They were given an insight to CATIA,ANSYS and CFD packages.
