A free Eye checkup and Eye donation Camp was jointly organized by Youth Red Cross Society of JCT CET and Lotus Eye Care Hospital, which was held on 17.08.2013 at JCT College of Engineering and Technology, Pichanur Coimbatore. The Camp was inaugurated by Trustee O.M. Manivelu and Dr. R. Saravanan, Principal. More than five Doctors and their assistants from Lotus Eye Care Hospital have participated in this Camp. Professor A. Kumar, HOD of Civil Engineering Department welcomed the gathering. Mr.N.Venugopal Marketing Executive, Lotus Eye Hospital conveyed the gratitude to the management of JCT College for organizing this Eye camp. In his inaugural speech he stressed the need for Eye Donation and gave a lot of suggestions to the faculty members and Students of JCTCET. Nearly 500 students, faculty and workers had free checkup through this camp.
