This year JFINAGLES 2K 14 at JCT college of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore had gone about organizing several events including paper presentation, Technical quiz, Equipment design Contest and short films presentation. The first day of the three-day national level symposium had been organized by the departments of Mechanical Engineering, Petrochemical Engineering and Automobile Engineering. In the first day, more than 70 students from various colleges had exhibited their talents in the plethora of events conducted by the departments. The second day of the symposium from the departments of ECE and EEE was filled with more number of presentations from the ECEians and EEEians. The final day of the symposium from Civil and CSE departments witnessed around 60, which brought all the students together into the dynamic discussion on their paper presentation.

In the three-day national level Technical Symposium, Students from various colleges sent their research papers and 108 papers had been selected to present out of 300 papers on the stage to exchange their inquisitive skills in Engineering and Technology. The valedictory function commemorated the successful three-day event and attractive cash prizes were given to the best presentations by the students. The three day was well organized and effort worth appreciation.

This auspicious and scholarly confluence was inaugurated by Mr.D.Asok Ram, Asst.General Manager, BEML Ltd, Palakkad. Chairman Thiru. S.A.Subramaian presided over the function. Principal Dr.G.Ramesh felicitated the students and faculties. Earlier Prof.V.Ayyem Pillai, Chief Convener (J FINAGLES 2K’14) welcomed and Prof.P.Pictchandi, Co-Convener (J FINAGLES 2K’ 14) thanked the gathering.
