The Department of Mechanical Engineering, JCT College of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore organized a Guest Lecture entitled “GRAVITY DIE CASTING” on 15.03.2024 for imparting basics of Die casting, importance of Die casting and its application in various Industries. Mr.D.AnandaKumar,AP/Mech delivered the welcome address and Mr.M.Prabhu,AP/Mech invited the Chief Guest. The resource person had given an importance and significance of Gravity Die casting and its impact on Industries. He also narrated that, how casting is incorporated in day to day basis. He pointed out the essence of “Gravity Die Casting” in Mechanical Engineering Subjects and its scope on various fields. He also shared the importance of Die casting parameters and created awareness in industry sector who are all seeking job in this domain. Totally, more than 40 students and 10 faculty members attended the programme. Dr.G.Mahesh, Professor & Head, Department of Mechanical Engineering proposed the vote of thanks.
