The Department of Mechanical Engineering, JCT College of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore organized a Guest Lecture entitled “WELDING TECHNOLOGY” on 15.02.2024 for imparting basics of welding, importance of welding and its application in various Industries. Mr.D.AnandaKumar,AP/Mech delivered the welcome address and Mr.R.Mahendran,AP/Mech invited the Chief Guest. The resource person had given an importance and significance of welding and its impact on Industries. He also narrated that, how welding technology is incorporated in day to day basis. He pointed out the essence of “WELDING TECHNOLOGY” in Mechanical Engineering Subjects and its scope on various fields. He also shared the importance of welding parameters and created awareness in welding sector who are all seeking job in this domain. Totally, more than 40 students and 10 faculty members attended the programme. Dr.G.Mahesh, Professor & Head, Department of Mechanical Engineering proposed the vote of thanks.
