INAUGURATION OF ACTIVITIES OF ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT CELL (EDC) FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2014-15

JCT College of Engineering and Technology inaugurated the Activities of Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) for the Academic Year 2014-15 on 16th July 2014 in the college premises. The programme commenced with the welcome address given by Prof.V.Pradeep, Coordinator of EDC. Being the Coordinator of EDC, Prof.D.Joslin Vijaya described the activities for the year up ahead. The Feedback report was given by the preceding EDC Student Coordinators. In the presidential address, Dr.G.Ramesh, Principal of our college encouraged the gathering with the importance of becoming an entrepreneur irrespective of the age. The Chief Guest Prof.R.Krishnan, Head – Entrepreneurship Development, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham University, Coimbatore briefed us with the key ideologies to succeed as an entrepreneur by means of power point presentations. He asked the students about their ideas about entrepreneurship and henceforth, started the presentation. His words made the students to realize the importance of entrepreneurship in life. He presented a brief explanation to become a successful man by relating the basic concepts behind a successful entrepreneur. He concluded his presentation by creating interest in students for being a better entrepreneur in future. Mr.J.Arun, Incharge of EDC proposed the words of gratitude.
