JCTCET Internal Smart India Hackathon 2020

JCT College of Engineering and Technology organized Internal Smart India Hackathon 2020 on 23rd January 2020 in Seminar Hall at 10.00 am.

The chief guest of this function was Prof S.Prabu Venkateswaran, SNS College of Technology Coimbatore. Dr.G.Ramesh, principal and Dr.V.J.Arulkarthick, Vice Principal welcomed the chief guest as Jury of this function. Totally 17 Teams from all the departments were actively participated and presented their ideas and finally 7 teams were selected by the internal and external jury to enroll in Smart India Hackathon 2020.

The first meeting for the preparation of JCTCET Internal Smart India Hackathon 2020 was conducted by Dr.V.J.Arulkarthick, Vice Principal on 20th December 2019 in Board room. In this meeting the Importance and Preparation of Smart India Hackathon 2020 was discussed. Prof.V.Murugesh, over all coordinator and staff coordinators were present in the meeting.

The first review for JCTCET Internal Smart India Hackathon 2020 was conducted on 9th January 2020 in Mechanical and Civil seminar hall. Around 60 teams participated from all the Departments and finally 17 teams were short listed for JCTCET Internal Smart India Hackathon 2020. Dr.G.Ramesh, principal and Dr.V.J.Arulkarthick, Vice Principal and DR.V.VIJAYAGOPAL HoD/Food Technology, DR.R.PERUMAL HoD/PetroChemical, DR.A.KUMAR HoD/Civil were Jury for this Event.

Dr.V.J.Arulkarthick, Vice Principal gave a valuable presentation on the preparation for Smart India Hackathon 2020 for both software and hardware projects to short listed students on 10th January 2020 in Seminar Hall.

Finally the Event ended with the distribution of participant certificates and Group photo.
