MAHATHMA GANDHI’S 150^TH BIRTH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATIONS

JCT College of Engineering and Technology, Pichanur organised the special programme On Mahathma Gandhi’s 150^TH Birth Anniversary Celebrations and various events were conducted from 01-10-2019 to 19-10-2019 to remember the father of our nation and the valedictory function took place in the afternoon session of 19/10/2019 at JCT SEMINAR HALL. The function started with a prayer song of Thamil Thai Vazhthu.

Ms.B Bharathi (I year Food Technology) welcomed the gathering preceded by lighting of kuthuvillaku ceremony. Our beloved Principal Dr.G.Ramesh, in his presidential address shared the message about Gandhiji’s principles and advised the students to follow his principles. Our respected Vice Principal Dr. V.J. Arulkarthick gave his special address. Students enacted a drama regarding the theme of swachh bharat. Later, a brief report on Mahatma Gandhi’s 150^TH birth anniversary celebrations was read by Ms Sweeka (I year Food Technology). Finally prizes were distributed to all the winners of the respective events.

The vote of thanks was delivered by Ms. B Bharathi (I year Food Technology). The function ended with the National Anthem.
