National Mathematics Day was celebrated by conducting an Online Guest Lecture on the topic “Applications of Calculus in Engineering” in remembrance of the Indian Mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan on 22.12.2022 at the seminar hall of JCT College of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore in presence of the Principal Dr.S.Manoharan.

Dr.Thangudige Phaneendra, Professor, Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore addressed the First year students and discussed the various applications of Calculus in Engineering. Nearly 210 students have attended the guest lecture and got benefitted. Dr.M.Muralidharan gave the welcome address and Dr.S.Saravanan gave the vote of thanks.
