The orientation program of the Academic Year (2019-2020) for the first years was held in JCT College of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore from 03.08.2019 to 16.08.2019. The program started with an inauguration function. All first year Students have come to step into Learning Portal of JCTCET.

The orientation program was scheduled in three sections as 9.10 a.m to 11.30a.m, 11.45 a.m to 1.15 p.m and 2.05 p.m to 4.20 p.m. In the first section all the subject activities were engaged namely English, Maths, Python, Chemistry, Physics and Engineering Graphics. In the second section motivational speech was given by Principal, Vice Principal, Academic Dean and HoD. In the third section Entertainments like watching movie, Lab Demo, Campus Visit, Yoga and Cultural were conducted. Students were taken to G.D museum as a one day I.V and one day trip to Aliyar dam, Pollachi.

Thus the program was very helpful for all the first year students to gain the platform for the Engineering foundation. And also it acts as recreational course from their higher education to academics.
