The Department of Civil Engineering conducted a plantation ceremony under Ecoclub by our Alumni on November 03rd , 2023, at 02.00p.m. The plantation of Guava Sapling in our College compound with our Ecoclub highlighted the importance that they give us clean water to drink, air to breathe, shade and food to humans, animals and plants and also provide the habitats for numerous species of fauna and flora. With the support of Dr. S Manoharan Principal and Dr. V Murugesh HoD/Civil, our Alumni P T Ashiq, planted the sapling with our Eco Club head M Sadhasivam Assistant Professor. With the help of our College caretakers they have dug a pit for the sapling and we have been a part of Green Environment in this current climatic conditions.
