SCIENTECH-2023” was organized on 13.01.2023 especially for school students at JCT college of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore.

Students from various schools reached the campus by 10.00 a.m. with the help of transport provided by JCT College. Registration for them was done at Mechanical Engineering Department and first they visited the workshop in that block. Next they went to Food Technology Department and visited Bio Processing, Bakery and Confectionary lab, Food Analysis lab. Followed by this they went to Automobile and Civil Engineering Department and visited Fluid Mechanics and Hydrology lab.

During their visit to Machines lab at Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department refreshments were given to them at Seminar hall by 11.30 a.m. On the way the students visited a Drilling Rig project model installed by Petroleum Engineering Department. Next the students went to Messer lab, Mass Transfer lab, and visited Mechanical operations lab at Petrochemical Department.

School Students have seen various projects designed and displayed by Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Electronics and Communication Engineering at Engineering practices lab. Next the students went to Computer Science Engineering Department and where a technical Quiz session was arranged for them. In that the school students actively participated in it and finally the students visited JCT library.

After visiting library all the students who took part in the event went to canteen and had their lunch that was provided by JCT College. About 600 school students accompanied by their staff members participated in this SCIENTECH Event, gained knowledge, got benefitted and the event ended successfully.
