The Department of Civil Engineering hosted a webinar on "Futuristic Scope of Civil Engineers" on August 9, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. The webinar commenced with a welcoming address by Dr. V. Murugesh, Head of the Department, who highlighted the importance of the future prospects of civil engineering in the context of rapid technological advancements. Assistant Professor Reshma P. D. delivered the Introduction about the Chief Guest and the importance of the webinar. Our Chief Guest, Dr. G. V. RAMANA, Assistant Professor, NIT Warangal, Telangana, a renowned expert in civil engineering, delivered a keynote presentation focusing on the technological trends and innovations that are likely to transform the industry. The session is about various skill requirements for our Young Civil engineers and for the current job openings in India. He also explained the importance of higher education and the role of Civil Engineers in society. The webinar concluded with a vote of thanks by Assistant Professor M. Sadhasivam.
