The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering of JCT College of Engineering and Technology organized a special webinar on “MATLAB – It’s Applications & Latest Research in Real Life” on 21.04.2023at 2.30.pm for the students of ECE.

The key speaker of the event was Mr.J.Sam Suresh, Yemi Foundation, Kangeyam. The session started with the welcome address and introduction to the chief guest was given by Prof.ThahseenThahir (AP/ECE). Chief Guest delivered his lecture on the topic “MATLAB – It’s Applications & Latest Research in Real Life”. The main objective of the webinar was to provide students with overview of MATLAB applications in real-life scenarios as well as to discuss the latest research in this field. He explained about various areas where the MATLAB is widely used such as Signal Processing, Control System, Image and Video processing. He demonstrated this feature with examples of plots and animations that showcased MATLAB’s power and flexibility. He also discussed about the applications of MATLAB such as Data Analysis and Predictive maintenance in real life scenarios where MATLAB has been used to solve complex problems.

Overall, the webinar was informative and students gained knowledge finally they had an interactive session with the chief guest.
