The Research and Development cell of JCT College of Engineering and Technology organized a special lecture on “PROCESS OF INNOVATION DEVELOPMENT AND TECHNOLOGY READINESS LEVEL(TRL) AND COMMERCIALIZATION OF LAB TECHNOLOGIES AND TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER” on 25.02.2023at 10.30.am forthe students of JCTCET.

The key speaker of the event was Shri.M.Muthukumar, DGM, Ground Control Systems,Airborne Platform and systems -BU,TATA Advanced Systems Limited(TASL),Bengaluru. The session started with thewelcome addressand introduction to the Chief guest was given by Prof.ThahseenThahir (AP/ECE).

Chief Guest delivered his lecture on the topic “Process of Innovation Development and Technology Readiness Level (TRL) And Commercialization of Lab Technologies and Technology Transfer”.The webinar covered a range of topics related to drones including their history, technology with illustration using Drone Technology and various applications. He discussed various types of drones including Quadcopters,Hexacopters and Unmanned Aerial Vehicle.The webinar covered the various technologies used in drone design, including sensors,cameras,GPS systems and artificial intelligence.He also discussed howthese technologies are integrated to makedrone more efficient and effective. He highlighted the many applications of drones, such as surveying, mapping, agriculture, wildlife monitoring, search and rescue and transportation. The webinar also addressed the various regulations governing drone use and safety concerns associated with drone operations.

The webinar provided valuable insights into the future of drones and their potential impact on various industries. Overall, the webinar was informative and engaging and provided attendees with a deeper understanding of this rapidly evolving technology.
