The World Creativity and Innovation Day was celebrated in JCT College of Engineering and Technology on April 21, 2023. The program started sharply at 12.15 pm by lighting kuthuvillakku. All the Heads of Departments, Faculty members and the students from various departments attended the programme.

Welcome address was given by Mrs.Soundarya,Assistant professor –Petrochemical Engineering Department. Following that, presidential address was given by Principal Dr.S.Manoharan. He mentioned the importance of World Creativity and Innovation Day. Miss.A.Kavyalakshmi, Assistant professor –Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department introduced the chief guest Mr. Arun Raaj Manickaraj. Chief guest delivered his speech by introducing his startups and he mentioned the importance of entrepreneurship. He also quoted the guidelines to get investments for startups. After the chief guest address vote of thanks was proposed by Miss.A.Monica Silvenas,Assistant professor- Petrochemical Engineering Department followed by National Anthem.
