The World Creativity & Innovation Day was celebrated in JCT College of Engineering and Technology on April 22, 2024. Most of the students had shown much interest and participated in the Seminar. The event started sharply at 11.00 am. All the Heads of Departments, Faculty members and the students from various departments attended the programme.

Welcome address was given by Ms.A.Stephani, First year ECE. Following that, Presidential address was given by Principal Dr.S.Manoharan . He mentioned the importance and reason for celebrating World Creativity & Innovation Day. After that Chief guest was introduced by Mrs.V.Anush Miria, Assistant Professor from Department of English.

Mrs.M.Bhuvaneswari, Innovation Ambassador, Karpagam School of Higher Education, Coimbatore was the chief guest. She delivered her speech by motivating the students, bringing the importance of Innovation and Creativity to think in an unique way. Also she spoke about the 10 best innovations, Tips for boosting the creativity,Design thinking, Chaku’s 7C Technique and she informed that India is the 46th Innovation nation.She concluded her speech by addressing the students to develop new concepts and ideas to innovate the society. Finally the programme was concluded with vote of thanks proposed by Mrs.I.Nancy Nisha, Assistant Professor from English department followed by National Anthem.
