A Webinar on "A Casual talk on Mental Crisis, Sexual Abuse, Self-defence and illness of Women" was held on 20.10.2022 at 03.00 P.M. onwards by the Women Empowerment& Prevention of sexual Harassment (POSH) at JCT College of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore.

Ms.M.Kiruba, Assistant Professor of Petroleum Engineering Department welcomed the Chief Guest and the participants. Introduction of Chief Guest was given by Ms.Chethana II Year of ECE Department. The Chief Guest of the function was Mrs.K.Anita, M.Sc. (Psychology), Psychologist, Coimbatore. She gave the valuable information about how women face mental issues both in their domestic and societal background and also how they must overcome the problems in their day to-day life. She also insisted in her speech regarding how women are sexually exploited in the society and how to safeguard themselves.

At the end of the speech 92 student participants and faculty members and also had an interaction with the chief guest about the session.

Finally, the vote of thanks was delivered by Mrs.I.NancyNisha, Assistant Professor of S&H Department and the programme came to an end.
