Department of mechanical engineering organized a one day live webinar program on “Develop your own robots”on 25/09/2021using google meet platform.  Our beloved Principal, Dr.V.J Arulkarthik gives the presidential address, and our HOD/Mech, Dr.G. Mahesh invited the chief guest. The webinar is presented by Dr.S. Ganesh kumar, Innovation ambassodor, SECE, Coimbatore in the topic “Develop your own robots”.  His presentation covered the knowledge & perception of  DIY (Do It Yourself) robots.  He covered some topics related to robots with various simulations sfotwares that are available in the internet.

While human-like robots are not on our radars just yet, modern technology has reached the stage where making robots at home is quite feasible. While your home-made robot will not be the most highly technical design in comparison to the current market, building simple robots for kids with your kids is a fun experience and will create great designs and memories. A robot is a type of automated machine that can execute specific tasks with little or no human intervention and with speed and precision. The field of robotics, which deals with robot design, engineering and operation, has advanced remarkably in the last 50 years.
