On 30th November 2023, JCTCET Entrepreneurship Development Cell coordinator Prof.B.Parthiban, Assistant Professor, Department of Petrochemical Engineering organized the Webinar on “Interaction with an innovator for start-up ” in JCTCET through virtual mode. 50 members participated in the event. Event started with Tamil Thai Vazhthu. Welcome address was given by Prof..K.Kaviyarasan, Assistant Professor, Department of Petrochemical Engineering. The Presidential address was given by Dr.S.Manoharan,Principal, JCTCET. Chief Guest Introduction was given by Prof.K.Sakthiuma, Assistant Professor, Department of Bio Technology and Bio Chemical Engineering. A webinar on “Interaction with an innovator for start-up ” was givenby the chief guest Dr. Refana shahul, Founder and Director, Mycoblooms Mushroomery Private Limited, Thennampalayam, Coimbatore. Through the webinar, students learned about unique innovative concepts that have been successful in the marketplace and how to grow Himalayan gold medicinal mushrooms outside of the Himalayan region. They also learned how to apply for state and federal funding for start-up businesses. Finally vote of thanks was given by Prof.D.Arul Ganapathy, Assistant Professor, and Department of civil Engineering. The event ended with National Anthem.
