Objective: To get awareness in Piping design career opportunities in Oil and gas Industries.

Experience: Webinar on ‘Introduction to pipeline integrity’ was conducted by Department of Petroleum Engineering, JCT College of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore on 24-03-2023 (Friday) at JCTCET Seminar Hall by 02:30 pm to 04:00 pm.

The primary objective of this program is to get awareness on basics of pipeline in Oil and Gas Industries and job opportunities in Petroleum Engineering domain. The students are exposed to learn different skills, which has demand in the Piping design for transportation of oil and gas. The trainer has experience in pipeline design in oil and gas industries in India. He has shared his journey from a student to a successful employer, which motivated number of students.

Outcomes: Students felt motivated to learn demanded skills on the latest technologies and systems in the field of pipeline introduction in petroleum. At the end of the webinar session students interacted with expert and benefitted in the field of pipeline skills that required for employment in the future.
