Internal Quality Assurance Cell and Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering jointly organized a Webinar on “IPR – PATENT FILING & RESEARCH PAPER WRITING” on 04.10. 2023 from 2.00P.M onwards at JCT College of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore.

The key speaker of the event was Dr.M.S.Sivagama Sundari, Assistant Professor (Sr.Gr), Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Amrita School of Engineering, Coimbatore. The session started with a welcome address and introduction of Chief Guest was given by Prof.Mohanapriya.S (AP/ECE). The main objective of the program was to create awareness to faculties and students about Patent filing and Research paper writing.

In this program, she discussed about the concept of Intellectual Property, Importance of IPRs, Patent filing, Designs, Trademarks, publishing and Copy right of the products. She also spoke about how to start a research paper, and also mentioned that writing a research paper requires a strong knowledge of our topic, and a step-by-step takes you through the entire writing process, from understanding our assignment to proofreading our final draft.

It was a very informative program and around 65 students and faculties had a great learning experience and got benefitted through this webinar. Dr.V.J.Arulkarthick, Director-IQAC & Head of ECE department thanked the Speaker, Event Coordinators Prof.M.Chandrasekaran & Prof.Mohanapriya.S and participants who have supported the event to get completed in a successful manner.
