The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering organized a Webinar on the topic “Energy management and Innovation” on 15.09.2023 at 12.00 noon. Dr.K.Geetha (HOD/EEE) introduced the speaker.

Dr.Marsaline Beno, Dean Research & Professor/EEE, St Xavier's Catholic College of Engineering, Kanyakumari talked about green energy, Energy efficiency, Renewable energy, role of Energy auditor, Smart homes. He also talked about importance of renewable energy, methods to save electricity, importance of Electric vehicles. Speaker gave importance about clean energy, Energy storage facilities, Importance of Energy management and techniques, steps involved in Energy management, reduction of green house gas emissions and role of Energy Management Systems.

Mr.D.Nagarajan delivered vote of thanks. He thanked our chief guest, HoD and students for attending the talk and our faculty members for their extended support for organizing this event successfully. A total of 60 students attended the webinar. The webinar was effective and it was useful to the students.
